History

Located in the picturesque district of The Cave, in Castañeda, Cantabria, the restaurant, The Midwife, opened its doors in 2006 in the ground floor of a stone mansion of the NINETEENTH century. Since its inception, we have dedicated ourselves to offer a kitchen current market, prepared with simplicity and love, using the highest quality products. Our letter highlights for cheese boards cantabrians, meats, and select fish, and a variety of homemade desserts that delight our diners.

Opening of the restaurant in a casona montañesa of the NINETEENTH century in The Cave, Castañeda, offering seasonal cuisine using quality local produce.
